I am very proud of myself for overcoming my challenges of stepping out of my comfort zone and reconnecting with my faith.

Seeing children grow in their empathy and care of the community is my favorite part of being an educator.

One of my favorite parts of my job is facilitating professional development workshops both virtually and in person all over the country.

I could have never imagined that I would be on the path to a rabbinical career, but thanks to brave Queer folks and allies who have fought before me to expand the imaginations of the fearful, here I am, and a big part of my mission in this life is to hold the door open for the next Queer person that is going to come after me, in the same way that a door was built and held open for me.

I find great inspiration and optimism for the future of the Judaism community as I watch these young individuals evolve into compassionate and empathetic members of society.

It has been so amazing to be supported by the staff and other participants.

It was the first of many opportunities to build community through learning, and I was hooked.
